Outsourcing is the conclusion of a contract between the two companies to transfer certain functions, tasks, business processes. The organization that assumes certain functions should be professionally specialized in this field. Outsourcing has a long-term relationship, as opposed to one-off services (e.g. service).

Most of the outsourcing tasks are: accounting, cleaning of premises and adjacent areas (or, as already referred to, clinical services), staff nutrition, training of young staff, translation services, transport services, maintenance and repair of equipment, security services, IT services and others. As a matter of principle, outsourcing may be given to any activity that is not relevant to the company.

Outsourcing:

1. Lower company costs (usually, outsourcing services are less than the same services but performed by the contracting firm).

2. Reduction of staff and, as a consequence, savings in salary taxes.

3. Exemption of the company ' s domestic resources to perform more important functions.

4. The concentration of the firm for the main purpose.

5. Use of specialized professional equipment and technologies of the outsourcing firm.

6. Minimum risk.

7. Momental access to skilled outsiders.

8. Rapid completion date: the contracting firm receives a quick performance and does not monitor preparations.

Outsourcing failures:

1. The result of the outsourcing firm may be lower in quality than the contracting firm needs.

2. Insufficient influence on the outsourcing firm, which could lead to additional losses and time costs.

3. The risk of losing company ' s confidential internal information as the outsourcing firm has access to important documentation.
